I’ve been reading a webcomic the last two days called Gunnerkrigg Court and I have to say, it’s the most creative, interesting, well-planned-out webcomic I’ve ever read and the art is phenomenal. I’m not sure how to explain it, exactly. It goes in chapters, all seemingly separate episodes at first, but soon enough they all fall in to place together and in a brilliant and bizarre way. I’m not totally caught up yet, but I’m really enjoying reading through the archives.
If you like smart female leads, robots, bits of magic, mythology, a few bizarre characters, and a good laugh here and there, I highly recommend you start at the beginning.
She is right. This is already one of the best webcomics (or any comic for that matter) that I have ever read and I am only 262 pages in.
Hey all you audiophiles out there. I wan’t to record my grandpa telling is super awesome war stories. His voice is not as strong as it once was, he would be intimidated by anything to big and flashy and I am on a very tiny budget. Beased on these facts does anyone have a particular techology they recomend for recording his stories?
Should I get a stand alone audio recorder, or a nice mic to plug into my computer, or something else? Portability would be nice, but is not necessary. Essentially maximizing audio quality at or well under 200 bucks (100 bucks would be way way better) is the goal.
Nice-guys don’t finish last. Bitchy-moaning-boring-kids-so-afraid-to-possibly-fail-they-seek-comfort-in-generalizing-stereotypes-that-make-themselves-the-victim-of-forces-well-out-side-their-control finish last.
Also, when making the assertion that women like assholes, sentences like “oh the mysteries of estrogen” make me wonder why the women aren’t all knocking at their door.
